Artist description
The incarnation Stone Slinger began in the early summer of 2002
With all the members finding their roots in and around the N.E Ohio scene.
Friends, not just fellow
musicians, finally joined force to make Stone Slinger one of the most
entertaining
and addictive hard rock bands around.
With influences such as Black Sabbath, Kiss, Kyuss, and Fu Manchu, Stone
Slinger continues the tradition of putting the show back in Rock-n-Roll.
From the purely original, pounding yet subtle, sound of "I Love Chrome",
and the hook-heavy riffage in "80 inches",
to the descelarated sonic sounds of "Desert Dreams", Stone Slinger
mesmerizes you while keeping you guessing. Their
one-of-a-kind live show captivates with infectious fun and
welcomed energy.
With the driving thunder provided by drummer Andy Van Mural; the crunch
and tones by guitarist Mike Stone;
the solid, eternal bass lines given up by Neal Beard and the smooth yet
wailing vocal sounds sent by Todd Tumbleweed,
Stone Slinger has planted a seed in the Rock World that will continue
to grow.
Since their early stages, Stone slinger has shared the stage with
many great bands - CKY, Sixteen, Red Giant, and Abdullah, just to name
a few.
While they have played from Michigan, to
South Carolina, there are clearly no boundries for this band, geographically
or musically. They will
not quit until they conquer the world. |
