Press Reviews
Jock Rock:
"Poor Old Ben - Another Day
Poor Old Ben's 'Another Day', despite the rubbish band name, shows definite promise - yes they're reworking old Blink182 melodies, but they're young, so that's ok. The lead track is in fact a pretty decent stab at a chart-friendly hit, the octave-spanning vocals being particularly distinctive, and frankly I'd rather have it on my radio than Nickelback. 'System Addict' rocks out more and shoudl please the young mosh crowd, while 'You', as an acoustic track, shows their sensitive side as well as musical and songwriting nous." |
