Artist description
Memphis has long been known as the Birthplace of Rock-n-Roll. It has given birth to some of the biggest names and most famous music that has ever been recorded. Just when people think this lady is unable to produce anything truly great again, she pulls out all the stops, and has given birth to the next great band --- Ashley Red. |

Artist History
Ashley Red made their debut at the Hard Rock Cafe on worl famous Beale Street in 2001. From the moment they hit the stage, they developed an immediate fan base that most bands who have been playing for years could only dream of. More than developing fans, Ashley Red has developed a family of friends that enables them to feel at home wherever they may play. Their music combines hard driving melodies mixed with soulful lyrics that immediately grabs a listener and drags them into their songs.
After Ashley Red's six-song demo garnished overwhelming support from their fans, as well as generating a huge buzz within the Memphis musical community, they began to receive recognition from those outside of Memphis. Mark Petty, who has engineered, mixed, and produced for such bands as Don Henley, The Eagles, The Dixie Chicks, and James Brown, finished recording the band's debut EP in October 2002. Soon after, Ashley Red began touring in support of this CD. |
