Artist History Hailing from lower Michigan, Second Priority is a good mix between the hardcore scene as well as the pop punk genre. Take the best from both worlds: intricate, fast paced riffs weaving in and out of a barrage of gut wretching screams, held together with a back bone of highly introspective, thought provoking lyrics. Mix in a From Autumn to Ashes style rythme section and you have one of the youngest bands on the scene bringing the punk rock genre to a stand still... Second Priority was formed in late October of 2001 and has been pumping out angst filled, edgy melodic hardcore music since. The breaking up of "just another punk band" and "no good reason" marked the begining of what was to become Second Priority. The hybrid of punk and metal that ensued, has been making scores of crowds throw there bodies up for abuse as they bat two fists in the air . Since there forming Second Priority has taken the local scene by storm, ripping apart each venue with there own brand of punk rock. They are currently in the process of recording there first full length album.
