Artist description
Just listening to Tony's music, one is able to close their eyes and envision a calmer, gentler, and softer place. Tony's albums are regularly used by massage therapists, Yoga and Tai Chi instructors and for meditation. Tony also produces music for commercials and independent CD's for other artists.
Tony Kalhagen currently performs throughout the Western Region of the United States. He resides in a peaceful coastal town on the Southern Oregon Coast. His beach style home and music studio sit high on a bluff overlooking the crashing breakers of the blue Pacific Ocean.
Also an engineer and producer, Tony performs and records all the instruments in his live act and on his CD's. He produces CD's for other local artists and becomes 'the band' for singer/songwriters.
Of Hawaiian, Norwegian and Shawnee heritage, Tony incorporates many ancestral voices and textures into his compositions. His live show includes handmade instruments from around the world including native flutes, gongs, guitars, percussion and voice.
Tony is able to customize his live act to fit your needs. From soft background music in a restaurant or gallery, to a main stage performance in a large festival or gathering; his music is truly a one-of-a-kind act that will linger in the minds of your audience forever
