    Artist History
Knife Party was formed in early 2002 by band members Matt Bomkamp and Cole Simmons. They played with a separate vocalist for 2 shows before it was decided that Cole was more efficient as the lead vocalist. After playing several shows with one drummer, current drummer, Tom Hellenbrand stepped in to fill the spot. Tom being from the same town allowed for greater flexibility in scheduling practices, and playing shows. In their short time with Tom they have already played more shows than they had previously played over the course of a year, including a show at The Rave in Milwaukee. Now, after getting a start on recording their first CD, the band plans to play bigger and better shows in hopes of attracting new fans.
