Artist description My name is John J. Post and I am currently a full time Engligh teacher but feel that I will begin a full-time career in music - sooner rather than later. To compare myself to James Taylor - would be too ambitious. However, I do feel that I sound a lot like him and my "easy listening" style of music also seems to align with his. I write music from personal experience, conversations, the news, and any other places where ideas flow.

Artist History My Name is John J. Post and I am currently a full time 7th grade English teacher. Since my favorite unit I teach is poetry, I assume that is where my love for music derived... I have been writing music seriously since college - in 1993. I play the piano / keyboard - though I can't "read" music. Since that time I've been submitting my material all over the country - trying to "break into" the music industry. I have traveled to Nashville to record a master demo - and have a producer who is working very hard in my corner. I continue to write new material often and plan on releasing that new material on this site sometime by the end of 2003.
