Artist History Timme did the old - once a week - little kid goes to piano lesson - but never got into it. Then at the age of 12 he saw the Tom Hanks movie "That thing You Do!" He played it over and over and over! He started playing drums on pillows while singing the lead vocals (of course with sun glasses on). He then enlisted his little brother to play bass and sing harmonies, plus have his sister sing harmonies, and then made his dad get off the couch and pick up his guitar after wiping off 20 years of dust. And so, a family band called American Pie (Buddy Holly) resulted. You can listen to them at www.hugebeings.com. They started playing school sock hops, streets dances and house parties. Today American Pie plays locally at bars and clubs. It's ok dad is in the band and mom is their #1 fan, what a shock!.
