Artist History
The band's founding members are B. Shanfelt and J. Parrot. They share a musical history and spent some time together in their previous band CODEGIVEN. They moved to the Philadelphia area from Virginia in search of bigger and better things. It was time for them to start a new band, after months of searching and a few auditions they found J. Ziemba, a drummer of a unique style that brings something all his own to the music. B. Shanfelt began the search for the final pieces, The guitarists... He post ads on the internet and auditioned many, first they came upon R. Foehl, a young and ambitious guitarist who had an element that the felt was necessary to the band, the search continued for a second guitarist, and a few more auditions later they found M. Sarro. The original direction of the band was going in a darker and heavier genre, of the likes of new metal, but very quickly did they realize that they had the potential for something different and more of their own style. March of 2002 is when the line up became complete, time moved forward and they began writing and creating, by the time summer hit they were ready to start recording. June of 2002 was when the first songs were tracked, a long summer then followed with many setbacks and things that seemed to keep the band from completing the songs. Finally in the fall things started to fall into place, the vocals were being recorded and they started setting their sites on the final product. Things were about to change though, the holidays came and went and things were still not yet completed. The band came to the realization that some changes were coming and at the mutual understanding of the band and guitarist R. Foehl, Mr. Foehl decided to breakaway and explore his own creative endeavors. Now the first of many songs are completed, and more are to follow. They are currently searching for a new element for the band, guitar player? Keyboardist? who knows exactly, but it must be someone to help complete the sound. They continue to practice, write and record to this day have confidence that their future will be rewarding.
