Artist description
Doing everything on my own is quite a challenge, but since grabbing the name Earth Bound Misfit out of one of my favorite Pink Floyd songs, that's what I've been doing. I play drums, guitars, bass, keys; sing; program; mix and produce, all on my own. It gives a lot of freedom to create whatever I want, but also makes it hard for me to settle on one particular style, as you'll probably hear in my songs.
I've done cover songs of such different artists as The Jesus And Mary Chain, The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Cliff Richard, Placebo, Syd Barrett, and Weezer. Sadly, those songs can't be distributed legally. |

Artist History
I've been eagerly listening to music for as long as I can remember, and finally started playing drums around the age of 10. Some years later, I started playing in bands, but after failing to take any of them far, I devoted my time to learning it all on my own. I started out doing simple MIDI tunes with added vocals, but have since then evolved quite a lot, and with the proper hardware, software, and instruments, in 2001 I finally was able to create that kind of music I really wanted to create, and in September 2001 I recorded the first song under the name of Earth Bound Misfit. I've compiled two albums of my songs, "Blaming The Fig Tree" (April 2002) and "Conforming To Normality" (December 2002). |
