Artist History CHASTITY, a self-taught singer, songwriter/guitar player and actress. She was born in 1976 in St-John's, Newfoundland and moved back and forth between her birthright and Prince Edward Island throughout most of her childhood. She has exhibited a strong passion for music. She started singing at age 5 but it wasn't until she discovered playing guitar at the age of twelve (12) that she realized the potential of her new found outlet and it's use towards her singing/songwriting efforts. She went on to perform at many local schools and community events. Chastity discovered her mission and has never looked back. Chastity was discovered while on the set of "Protection" (Stephen Baldwin, Peter Gallagher). ZIF Music's and Chastity's current manager Jenny DuHaime got her started on her 1st demo CD, highlighting her original tunes, titled "EXILE, CANNONBALL and HIDEAWAY. This was produced in February, 2001. She is currently performing across P.E.I. as a solo POP/ROCK Artist...with a little twist of Jazz now and then. Chastity has previously showcased her talents at Toronto's "B-side", New York's Kenny's Castaway, Le Swimming in Montreal, and throughout the Maritimes. She has also been seen sharing our National Anthem at the Montreal Alouettes football game and the Royal Bank Cup in Charlottetown, P.E.I. UPDATE!!! CHASTITY has hooked up with the legendary talents of 'Chas Guay' and 'Chris Corrigan' (Current CD Birdhouse). Chastity is in production with her new CD which is being produced jointly by 'David Rashed', formerly of 'Haywire' and Chas Guay. This project is expected to come to fruition by December 2003. Her new CD will feature her own compositions titled 'SANCTUARY', 'I CAN'T IMAGINE' and 'SAIL WITH ME'. A video will also be launched featuring her new single 'SANCTUARY'.
