Artist description We are a 3 piece band that plays a mix of alternative, punk and emo. Mostly our own material, although we do an occassional cover song. Our greatest influences have been Blink 182, Weezer and Box Car Racer. We have recorded our first CD with some really good material, but have written quite a bit of new material since then that has been tremendously popular whenever we have played. We are looking to record a new CD sometime soon, we are also in the process of trying to set up a tour this summer at various venues across the lower south and up the eastern seaboard. Artist History We've been together for about a year and a half playing and writing our own music. Starting out as Fiction 52 and changing our name several months ago to Smashing Amy. We play an alternative style of music leaning towards emo. We have played at various venues and schools in MA, NY, and VT, back in Texas at this time we are looking to set up a tour this summer across the southern states and up the east coast.
