Artist description Dr. Zoo is a contemporary rock group from Newfoundland. While completing a doctorate of Zoology in Johannesburg, South Africa, Randal teamed up with famous African producer Brian O'Shea. Together they recorded Arsenault's debut album entitled Dr. Zoo. In October Randal returned home to St. John's and formed Dr. Zoo consisting of Brian Bishop and Shaundar Barbeau. Recently, Dr. Zoo won the Newfoundland and Labrador segment of the National Songwriting Competition. Their song "Can Only Get Better" is getting airplay on major radio stations across Newfoundland and Labrador. Their self-titled debut album was released February 7, 2003 in St. John's. Brian O'Shea has produced numerous top ten hits for groups throughout Africa as well as major releases in Europe, Australia and the United States. Recently, Brian produced the band Seether which led them to signing with Wind Up Records in New York (also the label for the hit band Creed).
