Artist History ANASTASIS is the culmination of much musical experimentation and thought by myself, Joseph, who serves as the band's vocalist, keyboardist and programmer. Having been a vocalist for other bands did not satisfy my desire to musically walk on the dark side. Hard music can be intelligent. The retardedness and vulgarity of much dark music is a sign of musical inbreeding and lack of creativity/vision on the part of many artists. Dark is beautiful. With ANASTASIS we intend to co-represent a growing trend in music along with other other artists such as Monsterus, BridgeShadows, Saviour Machine and Fountain of Tears. I say "we" because this is no longer a one man project. In 2002 I joined forces with Eric Robinson, a guitar player with the same vision. We are currently writing with the intention of releasing an EP near Summertime of 2003. Ongoing credit for the continuing of this project goes to Jason Hannah for allowing us virtually unlimited access to his recording and engineering skills. Also, Jason gets credit as guitar player on our debut song The Burning Ground, as we had to get it written/recorded ASAP for the Project O local band comp. cd. Jason plays guitar for his real life band FTB.
