Artist History Started in 1991 with Ben on 7-string guitar and Demian on 5-string bass. The two were very depressed with the state of heavy metal at that time. This was the around the advent of grunge and the Seattle sound. Bands like Jackyl and Saigon Kick were being categorized as 'Metal' bands. The two founding members of Malhavok began a quest to reawaken the world to the idea of real 'HEAVY' metal. It took them several years to locate a drummer talented enough to add to their sound. Nick was added behind the kit in 1995. In 1998 they discovered leather throated Billy and added him on vocals. The lineup was complete. The band is currently working on completing their debut album.
