Artist History
The members of High Seasons first started playing music together in Boulder Colorado in 1991. The band started playing parties, quickly moved on to various clubs around Boulder, and ultimately headlined shows at the Fox Theater. Some of the highlights from the bands hundreds of shows in Boulder include opening for the Phunk Junkies and the Cherry Poppin' Daddies. The band also released two albums and was included on a popular compilation CD.
After a three-year hiatus, the band has returned to Denver better than ever. As lead singer Terry Lausch put it, “we matured a lot. Well, actually our vision as a whole became much clearer. What we wanted to play, the band we are, who we want to be…all came into focus.” The result is a tight, progressive and melodic sound the band characterizes as Colorado rock.
Before playing any shows in 2002, the band began writing. The new songs were simpler, more beat driven, and more radio friendly than their previous efforts. The songs showcase the band's strengths; a tight rhythm section, unique vocals and catchy choruses that just stick.
In late 2002 High Seasons started playing live shows again and the response was amazing. Inspired by the quick rise in popularity, High Seasons headed into the studio to record their third album, "Ride". Scheduled for a March 2003 release, the new album and upcoming high-profile shows promises to place High Seasons at the top of Denver's list of premier talent.

Press Reviews
“The album is tight, they know what they are doing musically and you can tell they write from the heart. Some bands write to impress and others adhere to an image but these guys seem to write from the heart so I really have respect for them as a band. Now as for the tunes, the whole album is chill but it has it's jammin moments. I especially like the strong vocals, they have some power behind them while being dark and moody or up beat and ballad(ish). I really enjoyed the album. Every now and then you get a cool sound clip interjected in the songs too, it fits well.
If I was riding in someone else's car and heard this album I would say "these guys are wicked, who are they?" Well they are High Seasons people - Go check them out, I wouldn't steer you wrong.”
