Artist History
Henderson Inches is an all-original band blended from slices of rock, jazz, funk and folk. Based in Chicago, IL, this group of four has found a unique sound that revolves around their ability as musicians and their creativity as songwriters. A Henderson Inches show promises excitement, beautiful harmonies, testosterone and musical exploration, all in a nice looking package. The genesis of the band occurred five years ago on the campus of the University of Illinois. All four members were part of the renowned vocal group, The Other Guys. There they won many awards and packed venues ranging from Champaign bars to the stages of Broadway and Lincoln Center. Upon graduating, each went his separate way (sniff...)Ryan moved to Boston and took the professional a cappella group "Ball in the House" to new heights. Brad went to New York and received his masters degree in Classical Piano Performance from the Manhattan School of Music.Dave came to Chicago, got a job, and started pursuing his true love, sound engineering. Justin finished school in Champaign. In 1999, they reunited. Thus, Henderson Inches was born.Since June, Henderson Inches has been appearing regularly at clubs in Chicago. They hope to take it on the road within the next year (if you have any interest in helping us out or hiring us, please let us know). |
