Artist description
1977 was the deconstruction era for four guys from
the duck-and-cover generation who grew up on Vietnam,
Watergate, Kent State and nuclear war. Everything we
knew was undermined and we took everything apart.
So we built our own studio and got to work. After
all the talk, the hours of strategy, stress exercises
and disorientation therapy, the only direction we could
agree on was no direction at all. |

Artist History
In the summer of '77 we set up shop in a rented
building on 11mile we called Quarentine Studio.
Most of this stuff is what survives of the year
we 'worked' there. The rest is the result of
someone's parents going away and us taking over
thier house. |
