    Artist History
LA RISONANZA La Risonanza is a vocal and instrumental group founded by Fabio Bonizzoni in 1995. It has a flexible instrumentation of three to as many as a dozen instrumentalists and singers depending upon the repertoire performed. The ensemble particularly focuses his attention on Italian music composed between the end of the 17th and the beginning of the18th Century. La Risonanza collaborates on a regular basis with singers such as the mezzosoprano Gloria Banditelli, soprano Roberta Invernizzi and Emanuela Galli, countertenor Martin Oro and bass Sergio Foresti. After having recorded in 1996 a CD completely devoted to Girolamo Frescobaldi, La Risonanza has released the Missa Non sine quare of Johann Caspar Kerll (1627- 1693) for the Italian label Symphonia, CD awarded “CHOC” by Le Monde de la Musique. From 2002 La Risonanza is recording for Spanish label Glossa and a CD of Barbara Strozzi and one devoted to the organ concertos of Giuseppe Sammartini have appeared so far.. Due to appear in 2003 is also a CD with music of Luigi Rossi for three voices and basso continuo. The group has performed in concert series like the Netwerk vor Oude Muziek (the Netherlands), at Mainz Kupferberg, Rheingau Musik Festival, MDR Musiksommer, and Villa Musica (Germany), at Musica e Poesia a San Maurizio - Milano, Teatro San Carlo in Napoli and Styriarte Festival in Osterreich.
