Group Members
Pastor Albert Townsend, Jr. Manager and lead singer. Pastor of Seven Star Missionary Baptist Church. Joined the group in 1956.
Frederick Hardy. First tenor and bass guitar. Joined the group in 1971.
Richard Davis. Lead singer and member since 1975. Richard's father, Leroy Davis, was one of the original members.
Alfredest (Fred) W. Edmonds. Baritone. A dream come true. Joined the group in 1990.
Willie J. Smith. Tenor/baritone. Also a minister, he joined the group in 1986.
John Charles, Jr. Drummer. Member since 1990.
Percy Gowdy. Lead singer. The oldest member of the group. Joined in 1992.
Thomas Moore. Lead guitar. Joined the group in 1981.
Joe Ingram. Rhythm guitar. Joined the group in 1990.
James Jingles. Treasurer and miscellaneous man for the Sacred Four. James does everything but sing and has been with the group since 1975. |
