Artist description Ateleos (ah-tel-e-os) is based on a Greek word meaning “undone” or “unfinished.” To us, it represents the fact that we are all works in progress. God isn’t finished with us yet! As followers of Christ, we are constantly being shaped and molded to be like Him. We are not perfect – far from it! But in Christ, God loves us and accepts us just as we are. Nothing we can do or say can make God love us any more or less. We hope that our music and our ministry reflect that same love and acceptance. While we love singing songs about and directly to God, we also play music that comes from the struggles and questions that all of us have with life and our relationships with God and other people. We believe that God is at work in everyone’s life, whether they know it or not, and speaks in several different ways. We use today’s language to speak to today’s people about the eternal truths of God. We pray that our words and our music might open just a tiny window on the unimaginable grace and love that only God has for all humanity.
