Recharging the energy of speedy, harmony fueled pop-punk, far from the clichéd 3-chord uniformity we've grown to despise, or ignore...The Hamilton crew All Left Out surfaced in 2002, composed by Ken Pratten on bass and vocals, Brendon Rickard on drums, Phil Stark on guitar and vocals, and Joe McNamara on guitar and vocals. Every song is a super catchy hit, with well chosen lyrics and lighthearted vibes that will remain in your head for hours. Already building a large fanbase, prompting the release of the band's E.P. 'Retrospect' - ALO are destined to be looking back at the success of their own creation in times to come, as they'll definitely be on the mainstream's musical radar. Rehearsing and performing throughout the North Island with an energetic live show and impressive musicianship, ALO are sure to raise more positive attention without fail. |

Press Reviews
"A promising debut 5 track E.P All Left Out's "Retrospect" is an irresistible collection of revved up punk anthems, with a high standard self-recording, not your average 'do-it-yourself' sound. "Retrospect" displays the group's flair for speedy, catchy guitar hooks, and unavoidable energy pulsing through every sound. Lyrics aren't overly deep or philosophical but they are refreshingly real and easy to relate to - with a distinctive command of vocal harmonies, that borders on christmas-carol style singagrams. A subtle humour runs through the construction of each song, with slightly comical guitar licks that are over before you hear it, and studio effects that creep up and disappear without warning. I'm sure the process of recording must have been filled with chuckles and grins... Song highlight "Hang Ups" pacing it's way towards a chorus with more hooks than a fishing box! This is pure pop-punk madness is well worth trading in your MxPx cd's for." - Sean O'Kane Connolly - Undergroundshow.com |
