Artist History Okay we're gonna try to explain how this "band" came about. Erik, Ray, Ross, and a drummer named Matt wanted to start a band. Erik and Ross were both experienced guitarists, and Ray could play bass well. So they started a band called "Uptown Kids". After a while, they realized that their band's name was very homosexual. Embarrassed by the name, they somehow decided on the name "Sideline Heroes". Soon after, Matt would part with the band. He was replaced by a drummer named Derek. Then the band started writing songs and playing shows. Ross would later leave the band, only to return after a short time. Now the band is where it is today and hopes something will come out of all of this.
