Artist description
Formed in 1999 by guitarist Jesse Day, Seasons of
Sorrow is a very innovative entry into the metal genre.
Combining the best elements of Celtic and classical music and adding
a healthy dose of power and black metal to the mix,
their sound can best be described as epic and very
progressive.
Mastermind/guitarist Jesse Day provides intricate
riffing and blistering leadwork as Julian Kenchenten
lays down galloping bass licks and finger-plucking
madness. The talented Evan Rogerson provides his
own unique style of drumming, summoning forth
thunderous double-bass beats and jazz/fusion
elements as resident screamer Adrian Miles shifts
effortlessly from blood-curdling black metal roars
to majestic classical vocals.
Seasons of Sorrow have currently re-mastered their
demo CD and plan to seek out a worthy label to
represent them. Their future goals are to record
an album and tour the world promoting the art of
metal.
