Artist History
ForthFading Bio
• ForthFading is a hard edge hip hop group from Athens, Georgia.
• The band formed in January of 2001 when all four members met in college.
• Although the group was formed in north Georgia members are from other areas of the country: Robert Bell- Vocals/Watkinsville, Georgia; Chad McIlvenna- Vocals/Orlando, Florida; Derek Amos- Drums/Virginia Beach, Virginia; Jay Beebe- Guitars/Lavonia, Georgia.
• ForthFading’s musical style is combinations of todays groove oriented Nu-metal rock incorporating a modern lyrical edge with elements of hip hop, rap, and a driving vocal performance.
• The band uses its combination of influences such as: Sublime, The Beatles, 311, Outkast, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Blindside, and Thursday to create an original styling and to induce a hyper atmosphere for the music.
• As a band we believe that it is important to produce music that will make a positive influence in our generation and at the same time strike a chord that will resonate in the wide spectrum of the human spirit (emotion).
