Artist description Drifted is a four-piece band based out of Kingsville, TX. Drifted has been playing as a group since January 2003, but have played together before in bands such as Pathetic Element and Sound Box. Initially a three-piece, Drifted worked hard to perform and get their music heard around the South Texas area. The band has a strong do-it-yourself attitude, including everything from recording to booking and promotion. Drifted recorded a 6-song EP, Sleep EP, in late Spring 2003, and recently completed a 12-song CD, Sleep, which also includes newer versions of the Sleep EP songs. The band has been playing shows in the South Texas area throughout the summer, and is working to expand its show base to larger cities, including Austin, Houston, and San Antonio. With the recent addition of a fourth member, the band has begun writing new material and will debut new songs at future shows.
