Artist description The Hill Studios This is a great opportunity for bands or individuals who have a ministry focus to get a professional recording at budget prices. We are a 24 track ADAT studio located in the theatre. We have 12 channels of compression and a Joe Meek mic pre. We have effects by Lexicon,yamaha,and Alesis, as well as a mic collection featuring microphones by Neumann, Sure, AKG, and Sennheiser. Our main console is a Tascam 3500 32x8. The thing that makes us unique is that we can capture a live sound and feel on tape. Garf Cooper, our engineer, has been working professionally since 1994. We can produce projects for Christian artists that will encourage their ministries at a reduced rate of $35.00 per hour or block rates of $240.00 for 8 hour blocks. These prices do not include materials such as any tape and CDs' that will be used to produce a project. Artist History the studio opened in febuary of 2002 we had been working on it for about 8 months before we actually recorded anything.The hill bought most of the gear and vic {dts records} donated the rest or got someone to help with the work.the control room used to be jerrys work room {thanks jerry} the maintence guy. the control room was basically shaped like a triangle and if it wasnt for the vocal booth the room would have been an acoustical nightmare. at the hill you learn to play the hand you are delt,and i make the most out of the studio. take a listen and tell me what you think.
