Artist description
You can’t miss one of Ginger’s live performances. It’s a cross between a rock concert and a cabaret performance. She slams hard or caresses softly her electric and acoustic guitars, while she diligently and sexily makes sweetness with each member of the audience by eye contact, shy tucks of the chin and sultry escapades into the audience seating or dancing areas. It’s a show that people will never forget. |

Press Reviews
From Galaxy Entertainment, The Daily University Star, January 2001 "[Ginger] moves as a woman who is as familiar with the stage as her own bedroom....to label the music as folk would be shortchanging it in the worst way. There are strong undercurrents of pop, funk and jazz present with a hint of gospel and a splash of rock as well. With all these elements, a fun stage demeanor and good looks, I think you'll find that Ginger does indeed take the cake." --Matt Ferguson
From www.gigamerica.com January 2001 "...Their up-beat tempo, funky guitar rhythms, and awesome vocal stylings left me all warm and fuzzy inside, and feet a little sore after dancing. WOW! This is some of the best music I've heard in a long time....I couldn't turn it off until it was finished." --Erick Willing
From The Austin Chronicle, May 2000 "...'Crazy Anyway' features and enticing trumpet solo from Ephraim Owens, and the two ladies vocals are always husky and sassified...Probably just the thing for Dave Matthews Band fans..." --Christopher Gray
From The Edge Magazine, May 2000 "There is absolutely nothing more sexy than a woman with a slightly raspy, bluesy, soulful voice...just imagine my delight when we received the latest release..from The Ginger & Sarah Band. Not one, but two incredible voices. Wow. [Ginger and Sarah] sing with the intensity and emotion of some of the best around--people like Sheryl Crow, Joan Osborne, and Fiona Apple...." -Juan Herrara |
