Artist description Santiago Chacon is a 24-year old native of Thornton, Colorado. In pursuit of his musical interests, Sanitago has found the classical guitar to be the most comfortable and expressive way to communicate his art. Approximately 3 years ago, he embarded on a mission of self-instruction, critical cd listening, and obsessive practice. He is now taking formal instructions in Classical and Flamenco styling. In the spring of 2002, Santiago began recording in the Studio where he plans to complete his first album with the working artist and album title "Ambience". This title is inspired by the feminine energy and passion that defines new age music. In addition to "Ambience", Santiago is also writing for three future album projects, each in it's own musical style. In these albums he will cross into Flamenco, Jazz Fusion, and Dance with the classical guitar as the primary instrument.
