Artist description Adam Diller studied physics and music at Grinnell College then began to learn about composition by studying the works of Stockhausen, Braxton, Xenakis, Feldman, Cage, Wolff, Varese, and Monk. He has learned much about improvisation from his work with Rob Blakeslee, Billy Mintz, and Dan Knight. Adam lives in Seattle and performs solo and with Gust Burns, Billy Mintz, Tom McNally, Humph, while working on several composition projects.
