Artist description
Tyrone Stylez is a veteran of New England music. He recieved his start playing bass
with Concord, NH rock trio Naked Thoughts and singing with oddball quartet Surprise
Guests (both are mp3.com artists). Upon moving to Boston, he surfaced as a drummer
with punk rock quartet Mortarblast (see www.statecontrol.net) and spent a year with
them while he pursued a degree in audio engineering. After the dissipation of Naked
Thoughts and Mortarblast, he spent a year working with members from the Surprise Guests
and Subsystem (Manchester, NH) in a project calledLosers Fight It, which was not taken
seriously. Now, attending college for the second time (this time in an anthropology program),

Artist History
1996 - Joins Naked Thoughts, Co-Founds Surprise Guests.
1997 - Completes first record with Naked Thoughts "Plastic Swords).
1998 - Releases "Plastic Swords," sells 200 copies by word-of-mouth.
1999 - Finishes follow up recording with Naked Thoughts, band goes on hiatus.
2000 - Joins Mortarblast.
2001 - Releases "Terrorized" CD with Mortarblast. Naked Thoughts reforms
briefly, releases "Does Your Face Hurt?" compilation with Surprise Guests,
which includes 1999 recordings. Naked Thoughts dissolves, Surprise Guests
follow.
2002- Co-Founds Losers Fight It. Live disc created, not released. Begins work
on "Anatomy Of Tyrone Stylez. |
