Artist History
The Band started from a conversation between Jen and his guitarist (Alias not picked yet). On New years of 2003. They decided to team up and make a band. They named the band "Pretentious" but ditched it because it was meaningless and decided to wait for a band name to fall onto their laps that fit and not try to force a name right a way. Then one day Jen was watching "The Dark Crystal" (One Of his favorite movies) and was hit with an epiphany. The missing Crystal Shard was exactly what he wanted his band to do. The Crystal Shard was destined to unite darkness with light into the future. But it needed "Jen" a galfling and his friends to fulfill this destiny. That's why we named it "The Crystal Shard" and the lead singer took on the alias "Jen" |
