Artist History Essentially a five piece band from Melbourne who have been playing together for 3 full years, the band are constantly writing new material and forever changing their stage show. The initial genesis of the band started when Toby and Adam hooked up with friends Tim and Beetle. From there the band have progressed into a tight outfit with strong songs and great stage presence.

Press Reviews Slideaway are according to their publicity "going to be the biggest band on earth". Well he was pissed at the time. A five piece with a Powderfinger/ Oasis feel, but with more bite in the guitar dept. A tambourine wielding frontman with a cool stance. Very professional for a new band, worked the crowd and had them rocking along.. The final song was a killer with some Stones style guitar work.
