An ever evolving expression of
contemporary and traditional folk roots.
In harvesting rhythms and melodies from
heirloom strains of country blues, bluegrass,
Celtic roots, rock, and reggae, Rootstand engages
and ignites crowds of all ages. Rootstand is
based in Michigan, and while not on tour,
can be seen almost every weekend somewhere in
the Great Lakes region. The diversity of music
Rootstand plays is mirrored by the array of
venues in which they can be found. |

Artist History
As of 2003, Rootstand is in it its fifth year of
professional adventuring. Rootstand is based
on the musical inspirations of Brant Losinski
and John Snyder, who have played and performed
roots folk and blues together for nearly ten
years, and bring forward their experience and
spirit with acoustic guitar, harmonica, and vocals.
