Artist description
Deadfish and the Buttyboys have been together
some seven or eight decades now. Individual band
members come and go, but the core talent of
Deadfish himself and his close circle of
supporting musicians has and continues to remain
constant. The now legendary films "Yikes" and
"Tuesday's got the monkey" shine to this day as
the finest examples of Deadfish's acting and
composing talent. We are truly honored to have
lived as contemporaries of this genious.

Artist History
It all started in a cold, muddy trench somewhere
in France circa 1914. An entire company of
British troops was wiped out in an overwhelming
German offensive strike. Fortunately, the boys
had managed to evade conscription and were not
involved in that dreadful loss of life. They were
hiding out in a remote corner of Lime Street were
they played for beer money. Eventually, indoor
gigs became more frequent until that now famous
day in 1916 when Seamus Kelly, the well-known
italian music promoter, walked into the Coal
Cellar cabaret. You know the rest! |
 |
Group Members
Influenced by British Music Hall, Burlesque, and
the great classical composers, but having no
real individual talent, the boys have successfully
applied the now ubiquitous brute force,
music-by-sheer-numbers approach to artistic
development. |
