In less than a year, they have already recorded two EP's, played numerous venues across the northeast, and are poised to breakout into the national rock scene. This is an act you will not want to miss. Recently forming in late summer 2002, Maria Forgotten (originally known as 2 Guys From Work) are an accoustic indie emo rock band. Mike McCormick (Guitar, Vocals) and Ryan Gottshall (vocals) met through their former workplace and quickly forged a close friendship, centering around their love for music. In a very short time, almost a full albums worth of material was written and they had already begun to perfom. A few brief public performances later, they had formed a following of adoring fans. With those fans in mind, they released a five song EP entitled 'UNEXPECTED', showcasing their unique musical style and impressive talents. Within a few weeks they sold out of the first pressing. Currently, Maria Forgotten is completing their second EP, to be released during Summer 2003. With the addition of second guitarist Andrew Shank, there seems to be no signs of stopping for this acoustic powerhouse. Plans to complete the band with bass and drums and eyes on the road to get their music out, Maria Forgotten is forging ahead into the future.
