Artist description Though, I was born in Detroit Michigan, I'm just an oldtime country girl; who enjoys all sorts of music, like jazz, country, rock, r&b, classical, just as long as it sounds good and it soothes the mind. I'm very quite at times, but sometimes though; I can get wild and crazy, when I just want to have fun. Must of my time is spent with my 3 children Renee`, Vincent, and DeShawndra, and my 2 Grands, LaVon and LaSean. I spend alot of time with the children in the neighborhood who comes by the house to visit, and who also think of me as their second mom. I'm the kind of person who seek God for everything, because He's the one; in whom, have all the knowledge and wisdom, and is always listening, when no one else is. Everyone thinks that when my children and I are together, they can't tell who's older, between me and the two oldest children. I'm the kind of person or I'll say spirit that is calm in time of trouble, and will be there for whomever in their time of need. I find myself always putting myself last, because I figure that that is why I am on this earth anyways, to always love and help others

Musical Influences I would like to thank Midas'T for having so much confidence in me and patience, Big'ems for his corrective critacism, and The Heavenly Father, all were my backbone and support through all of this.

Similar Artists Most people say, when they first hear my songs compare me with Erika Badu, Massey Gray, or India Irie.

Artist History I come from a background of musicians; in whom, are my dad, who could play just about anything, and my older brother who played the congas and the bongos, and the brother who is next to me who played the truimpet. I played the tenor sax and held the tenth chair in high school band. I used to sit and watch my older brother Keith, and his band play downstairs in the basement as they would always rehearse, and they would let me play on the instruments and sing on the mic.

Group Members My son is my artist, who draws everything for me and who comes up with the designs for the cover of my cd, and my youngest daughter is always there to help me when I need a dictionary around, and my oldest daughter helps me sometimes as being that extra voice that I need.

Instruments I play the keyboard and tenor sax.

Albums My first album will be coming out in the summer of 2003.

Press Reviews Since I am just starting out, I try to stay away from the press for right now, though I know it is the press that will hype me up down the road.

Additional Info My first album will feature a host of new artist, young artist that are from around my neighborhood, because it starts at home first in my eyes and there is alot of talent here, that needs to be heard.
