Artist History
The music is therapeutic relief for four Monroe Michigan area musicians who call themselves linus. The bands earlier music stemmed from 90’s punk/pop, but they found themselves undergoing an intense musical evolution. Drawing on a diverse range of influences including deftones, miles davis, neanderthal mission, greenday, blink 182, the pixies, glassjaw, slayer, 311 and many others the band began to develop their own form of post-hardcore. Essentially each linus song takes on its own identity. The only common thread that the songs have is the intense emotional overflow engulfs the listener. This is further backed by the band’s intense stage performances. No gimmicks, no hype, just music for the sake of making music. |
