Artist description
You are about to meet The Distractions. A four-member band who collectively believes that popular music reflects the state of the times, yet position themselves far away from what everyone else is doing - and still enjoy popularity. A band that sings deep, introspective, even spiritual lyrics, but layer complex ideas over simplistic, major chords and a definitive "pop" groove.
