Artist description Sock Monkey (sm27) is a three-piece band that formed in 1997 in Carlinville, IL. SM started off as a pop-punk band, but as our tastes in music matured we have formed a more grunge-rock style. We recorded a c.d. in 2001 at basement studios in STL, MO called casualties of boredom. There are only nine songs on it but we have since written a dozen or so more that will be sorted through and compiled with the original nine to form our first full length. We are unsigned and we play about 2 shows a month or whenever we can throw ourselves together.
