REVIEW BY NIGEL WILSON AT MOOD SWINGS
Sometimes you'd be forgiven for thinking that the Scandinavians were taking over the world of Melodic Rock. Street Talk are yet another Swedish act. With 3 lead vocalists (Kristian Andrèn, Daniel Jonsson and Göran Edman (ex-Yngwie Malmsteen) the title seems appropriate.
Street Talk play AOR meets Westcoast. So if you like comparisons, then Journey/Bad English meets Toto sum up a good proportion of the material. When I saw the word "Westcoast", I though this might be a bit wimpy for me. However, guitar player, Andreas Lidberg, adds enough of an edge to the material to keep me happy.
I thought that using the 3 singers would make the album sound disjointed, but it all gels together surprisingly well. I guess singers were a problem, because we've got not 1 but 2 instrumentals on the album.
The album features a strong set of songs, which, in days long gone, I'd have described as radio friendly. All the vocalists put in good performances and I can't single out one as the best. Surprisingly, my highlights are the slower numbers - If You Say It's Over (both versions), Standing In the Rain & Could You Be The Only One.
It's a good album, but it is short (especially when we get two versions of the same song (even though I like both versions) & the guitarist is good, but 2 instrumentals is pushing it).

REVIEW BY ANDREW J. McNEICE AT MELODICROCK.COM
Street Talk are natives of Sweden, and the good folk at USG records Germany, have had the good though to sign these fellers to a contract. And so they should, because Street Talk have made a fine record here.
While the guys have come up with ten pure in style original AOR tracks, they have left their AOR influences shine through, with plenty of Journeyesque riffs and solos.
Infact, the guitar playing of Fredrik Bergh is a highlight through out. If it isn't some great riffs, it is some fine Neal Schon soloing.
The vocals are somewhat shared, with Kristian Andren on three, Goran Edman on four and daniel Jonsson on one track. Throw in a couple of instrumentals, and it equals a smooth ride for AOR fans.
The changing of vocalists does not effect the flow of the album, as they sound remarkabley similar.
The songs are of the classic AOR vein. Big harmonies and choruses, with a mix of guitar and keyboards. The flavour is distinctly European, with the Swedish melodic rock flare highlighted throughout. The production, while not of big budget standards, is considerably better than many of the independant or minor label releases we see.
For an album of 10 smooth AOR ballads, both up tempo and slower, in the European flavour, I recommend you investigate Street Talk.

REVIEW BY BEATRIZ MARINIELLO AT MELODICPLANET
Awesome! This is the long awaited follow up to their 1997 debut album: Collaboration.Street Talk Transition its pure AOR,with great guitar playing by Sven Larsson, the sweet vocals of Göran Edman (voice very similar to Dennis De Young) and the magnificent lyrics, music and production of keyboardist and leader of Street Talk: Fredrik Bergh.
The sound and the musicianship is professional throughout.
The cd starts up with ¨Someday I will get Over You¨an excellent aor song with sweet harmonies and very good lyrics. All the songs are so well done!!So is the case of Ye Gods and Little Fishes (song composed by Fred and Goran) another beautiful track with a spectacular chorus, such as ¨Everything I do is just for you¨.Energizer Bunny¨ is a very funny song which also contains a catchy chorus. You also have songs like ¨Let me be the one¨,¨Dont give up on this love¨or ¨When you lose the one you love¨ which are some incredible ballads. While you are listening to this album you feel like living in an AOR land.Im so proud of you Fred!!Beautiful lyrics, great production and fabulous songs, make this one of the best albums of the year. This is Street Talk doing their stuff in a very efficient way.Two words spring to mind to describe this cd:Unique and Special.Do yourself a favor and get Transition.Street Talk is one of the BEST AOR bands in the world!!!!
REVIEW BY PäR WINBERG AT MILDWESTERN SKIES
What about Street Talk then? If you adore swedish AOR in the vein of Bad Habit and Alien (when they where good) this is sure a real check up. For my personal taste I don't really get a hard on of swedish standard AOR. It's very rare. I will not be rude to the guys in Street Talk at all cause they're doing this type of AOR really good, and when Göran Edman is behind the microphone they're on the top of swedish bands. Gosh, what a great voice Göran have. So if you adore scandi-AOR buy this one tomorrow, and I can imagine that they really get high gradings out in Europe in all kinda mags, cause they're much more keen on Scandi AOR than I am.
Review by Stefan Edstrom at Authority On Rock
Here's a new young Swedish band (read Fredrik Bergh & Andreas Lidberg) that possesses a lot of talent. In fact, hope I'm not putting too much pressure on them, but they should be one of the bands that will carry the torch of the more sophisticated side of the Adult Oriented Rock into the next century.
Hearing this album it's obvious that the heroes for Fredrik and Andreas are Journey, something they can't deny.
The album starts off in its rockiest mood with "Walk Away From Love", sung by Kristian Andrén. He's one of three vocalists on this record (hence the title!), and even if he isn't the sharpest pencil in the box he's quite okay. Like in the beautiful and harmony-filled "Brand New Start".
The cleverest idea however, was the brilliant move to hire former Yngwie Malmsteen vocalist Göran Edman.
Here he sings on three brilliant mid-tempo rocking ballad-sounding songs. "If You Say It's Over" is destined to become a favourite on all radio stations that still plays this kind of music.
Mr. Edman sings a bit different here than he usually does on all the hardrock-albums he's guesting. Not as hi-pitched, more controlled and soul-filled. In my opinion he's never been better!
An extra plus to Fredrik and Andreas for a really great production and the fact that they have written practically everything on their own.
I hope they can keep their fire burning so that they can create more songs/albums of this calibre in the future.
