Artist description Splendid Havana is a 4 piece guitar based rock band based in Chapel Hill, NC. The band, with influences as diverse as their backgrounds, has a unique sound that is comprised of elements of rock, funk, and country. Their sound has been described as a mixture of Led Zeppelin, Parliament/Funkadelic, and Johnny Cash. Though only together for under a year, the band has a catalog of over 30 original songs stylistically ranging from heavy metal to honky tonk country. Those who have seen the band live have commented that Splendid Havana’s catalog of original material is extremely diverse yet has a common thread that ties it all together.
