Artist description
Formed in the summer of 2002 as a vehicle for the original songs and compositions
of Robin Hunter, this is one of the most exciting and musically dynamic groups to
appear in the Alberta scene in some time.
They are currently working on the recording of their first collective CD, which will
be due for release in the summer of 2003. In the meantime, watch out for "The Bullies"
in case they come to play in your neighborhood !!! |

Artist History
ROBIN HUNTER
Robin Hunter is best known for his work with The Imagineers, who between 1988 and 1999
produced three studio recordings, a film soundtrack and a short film score.
As well as working as a sideman with Kathleen Yearwood, he has played the Vancouver and
Winnipeg Folk Festivals, and has been a member of Edmonton's famed: "Sherpas of Love,"
"Tanyss Nixi & The Western Casket Factory," and has been an integral part of "The Improvised Network."
Some of the artists that have shared the stage with Mr. Hunter are:
Martin Simpson, Alejandro Escovido, Sarah MacLachlan, The Vertrek Ensemble,
The Smalls, Neko Case, SNFU, Lester Quitzau, No Means No, Paul Bromley, Old Reliable.
Robin is currently working with CKUA's Andy Donnelly on the production
of a CD of live recordings of Alberta singer/songwriters to be released in
fall 2003.
