Artist History At the age of 10, Johan got his first guitar and immediately started to write songs. At the age of 12 he started his first band together with his cousin John on drums. The band had no name. Some years later Johan started the band Pearl Harbour who manged to get a gig at the local cinema together with some other bands. The stile was a bit influensed by Kiss and Europe. Later he and his friend and keyboardplayer Michael Rosengren started the band Feodoria who recorded a twotrack record. The bandmembers went separate ways as the basplayer joined the band OZ. Johan and Michael then started the band Token. Johan who earlier had been the guitarist droped the guitar and became the singer. Token won a competition and was offered to tour around Stockholm, playing at schools. A record label was interested, but just when things started to get well, the band couldn't get along and split upp. Johan changed genre to soulpop, and later he got two of his songs on an collection album. The album didn't sell very much and after that Johan decided to study Psychology at the University. He got a Masters degree. Johan then tried to get in to the acting business, joined two theater plays and had one of the main characters in a movie. At the same time he started to record a popalbum together with the swedish well known guitarist Tommy Denander. Later Token reunited, but this time Johan played the guitar and H.B Andersson bacame the singer. The band recorded their first album for MTM -music. In lack of money Johan sold his appartment, bought his own studio and is now trying to make his own album. Besides that he is also writing and producing songs for others. And is also writing songs for Token's next album.
