Artist History
Nerd Warfare began in late September as a four
piece cover band from Fairfax, VA, that only
formed to play in a school sponsored "Battle of
the cover Songs". The band consisted of Sam
Delman on drums, Marco DiSandro on lead guitar and
harmonica, Joe Hagel on rhythm guitar, and Robbie
Rusbuldt on bass and vocals. After the cover show
the band decided to stay together and write their
own music. After appearing in one more show with
Joe Hagel, he was dismissed from the band and was
replaced by Tim Moran, who now also sings. With
this settled, the band was ready to continue, and
moved on. They wrote their own music consisting
of anything from Punk to Southern Rock, and have
categorized themselves as "Southern Punk Rock."
Nerd Warfare is well known for their punchy,
hard-hitting lyrics, such as "Butter Commercial",
and their southern riffs in songs such as "Dixie
Woman."
Up to date, the self taught musicians of
Nerd Warfare have written several songs and have
played multiple shows. They just released their
new C.D. "Two Lips and a Snare." Nerd Warfare
continues to create new music, which is
appreciated by various groups of people. |
