Artist description
David's mission is to continue writing and performing music that will encourage young people and adults alike to "Stand Up," and celebrate their life in Christ and share His love with the world around them. Glenn proclaims "it is so exciting to write songs that inspire people to take steps closer to Christ and to make music that will impact His kingdom."
After moving to Atlanta in 1997, he developed a grassroots following and has rapidly become a local favorite. Glenn has also had the opportunity to travel throughout the country and abroad to lead worship and sing at many concerts, conferences and mission trips. He has shared the stage with multiple Dove award winner, Jennifer Knapp, as well as Jill Phillips and Charles Billingsley.
His career is full of promise with his latest EP offering, "Stand Up," produced by former Newsong member, Scotty Wilbanks. David proves he not only has a unique voice but also writes inspirational lyrics to match. His songs range from exuberant shouts of joy and praise, to songs of love and worship to our Lord. He loves to share his faith through music.

Artist History
Even if you didn't catch David Glenn at one of over 100 concerts last year, chances are you've heard his song "Come Down." He wrote it with Danny Stephens (Smalltown Poets) for last September's "See You at The Pole" prayer event. David says his mission is to "write and perform music that will encourage young people and adults alike to 'Stand Up' (the name of his last recording) and celebrate their life in Christ and share His love with the world around them." He loves to share his faith and it shows in his music. * David's career began in high school when he toured with a secular band. But as he says, he was in it for all the wrong reasons. "During that time," David says, "I lost interest in church altogether. I turned my back on God for some time. However, after a few years of doing it my way, God revealed to me that He had given me a gift and that it should be used to glorify His name and not my own." Since then, David has been performing solo as well as leading worship at church and festivals around the country. Whether you're already a fan or not, you'll want to check out David's newest CD coming in early Spring 2003.
