Artist History State of Nowhere was an amazing band that existed long enough to release one CD, "Demo" in 1997. That album was comprised of a 7-song demo recorded at Dare Studios in 1996, and several tracks recorded at Five Towns College over the next year. SON played all over Long Island, NY, including the famed Roxy Music Hall in Huntington, NY, and the Pyramid Club in NYC. The band broke up in 1998 when Mike G. moved to Albany, Mike M. went to college, Jody joined the Army, and Tom flipped out. Mike G. is now the guitarist for the Albany, NY-based rock band The Velmas (www.thevelmas.com). Mike Mandato is currently the guitarist for 7 Caged Tigers, a rock band out of NY. Tom continues to make music as well in NY. We don't know if Jody still plays...
