Artist description
The Siloh sound might be best described as having the driving power of U2 and the ambience of Pink Floyd coming together with the down-home purity of a Neil Young or a Billy Joel. Siloh is the collective effort of four Los Angeles area musicians whose roots individually stem from the Midwest. Stu Grant (drums), Stuart Murphy (bass), and Eric Ryan (guitar) have been longtime friends from Nebraska, and have been writing together on various projects off and on for several years. With the recent addition of vocalist Patrick Morgan at the end of last year (2002), Siloh was formed with the sole intension of writing honest music based on their own experiences, all while pulling from their sometimes very different musical backgrounds. At this point, Siloh has been strictly a studio band, but is looking to change that and start playing out live very soon. |
