Artist History Originally nicked "Charlie Squared" and "The Superfriends", Library Porno Mag has really come a long way towards people liking their performances. The duo from Amherstburg, Ontario have always enjoyed entertaining people. It started out by making pranks in the hallways of General Amherst High School and then turned into a website dedicated to pain and awful humour coming from the "cracked" minds of Charlie Simpkins, Charlie Bondy, and Ronnie Bastien. As time went by, Charlie and Charlie really got into discussing their favorite types of music. That eventually led to playing their guitars together on a regular basis. When the opportunity came along to play in a school talent show, they took a chance. That chance proved to be a great decision, as their performance was loved by all... including those who didn't attend! At the time, Simpkins was singing with a punk band called "Special Ed" (Now called "Running With Scissors) and created "The Superfriends" as an acoustic side project. Bondy was slowly circulating the music scene on a lower key, until he teamed up with Simpkins. Shortly later, Simpkins officialy left Special Ed to form Library Porno Mag along with Bondy. With their talents teamed up, they created an amazing duo. Since then, they have expanded their horizons into playing more songs and eventually began writing thier own stuff. Demand has increased for LPM to perfrom at many functions. The band's discipline towards learning new tunes has really increased their playing ability. Up until now, they have been practising a lot in order to prepare for the upcoming concert season. So come on out to one of thier shows... it is certain you will have a good time!
