Artist description
Over the years J.H. has been working with more than 20 Duos, which was his favorite and main working field. The other half could be almost anything: guitar, double bass, harp, saxophone, flute, vocals...since 1994 he has been working as a Solo Artist simply changing the other part into vocals and still playing with his versatility, and virtuosity as if he wouldn't have to sing... Jens Hausmann writes and sings clever songs from the heart with a more than solid musicianship there is no time where it's finished. This is vintage music: something that never goes out of style, joyful, playful made with lips & fingers. This doesn't mean being against new technical achievements, but isn't it great if it works without plugging things for half an hour? It's a much more intimate and personal thing, as life should be! |

Artist History
J.H. was raised in Morehead City, North Carolina until he went to school in Germany. He took up the guitar over twenty years ago, completely self-taught, later he studied Music & English. For about 20 years he has been a working musician live, in the studio and giving guitar-lessons. Over the years he had the chance to have his share in all kinds of music, any style, from working solo, in bands, big bands and even orchestras. Collecting lots of expierience with countless gigs and sessions he had the chance to develop his own Singer/Songwriter style, but still his main roots would be blues, jazz& folk with a funky soul. Currently he is working solo and in duos on guitar & vocals. |
